03Your car
The firmware is built for your car's VIN. It's on the driver's door jamb and at the bottom of the windshield.
04How to install
Choose how you want it installed.
For a remote install you need:
Missing one? Choose the mail-in service instead: you only need to take the cluster out.
After we confirm, we email you where to send it. You ship the cluster to us; we flash it within one business day of it arriving and send you a video of it running. You pay once you've seen it, then we ship it back overnight, free. You save a backup card today; it isn't charged.
05Install time
Times open from 6 hours to 6 days ahead, and we confirm every appointment.

07Review
- Booking places a hold of the total on your card. It's reserved, not charged: it shows as pending on your statement.
- We confirm your appointment. If we can't, the hold is released.
- We charge the hold at your install, after we check everything works. If it can't go ahead, the hold is released.
Install agreement
- The firmware is built for this car only. I won't copy, share or resell it.
- The firmware file is deleted straight after the install.
- Remote install: I'll be at the car with the charger, laptop (AnyDesk installed) and cable at the booked time. If you don't hear from me within 30 minutes of the start, the appointment closes and the hold is released. I can move it up to 6 hours before.
- Mail-in: I ship the cluster after your confirmation email, packed well. Shipping it in is on me; the overnight return is free once I've paid. Payment is due within 7 days of the video; if I haven't paid by then, you may charge my backup card after telling me.
